The strongest aspect of my work is the combinations of the colors. This is my strongest aspect because most of the colors complement each other and the others look very well together. The aspect of my work that can be improved upon is the clarity of the picture because the bottom of the picture isn't as clear. I would do this by either taking another photo or choosing a different one that i already had.
The easiest part of the this project was choosing the colors. This was easy because i used different shades of two different colors in each picture. I also mainly used complementary colors in the images. The most difficult part of this activity was getting the magic wand tool to select what you wanted it. This was hard because sometimes it selected too much or too little and then you had to adjust the tolerance of the tool.
I demonstrated the objective by using the tools on photo shop. One of the tools i used was the magic wand tool. This selected areas of the image which allowed you to change the colors. I also used the filter gallery. The filter i used was cutout. Another tool i used was the paint bucket, which painted the areas i selected with the magic wand tool. The last tool i used was the image adjustment settings. I used the hue and saturation to change the colors of the copies. I also used the black and white to make the original image black and white so it would be easier to change the colors.
If i could do this activity again i would change the original size of the picture to 8x10 because i made mine 11x7 accidentally. I would change this by changing the dimensions of the new file i created.

Polaroid project Artist Reflection
Artist Reflection
The strongest aspect of my work is the extra water drip I used to hide the cut edges of the polaroids. This is the strongest aspect because it added detail to the work and creates more color. It also was an interesting way to hide the edges where the polaroid had gotten cut. The aspect of my work that can be improved upon is the color of the background paper. I would use the edit tools to make the background paper look whiter or when painting I would use a more white piece of paper.
The easiest part of this activity was painting the background because I chose colors to match the colors in the picture. Blue to match our tongues and green to match the grass and trees. After I did some painting I blew on the paint so that it would drip down the paper. The difficult part of this activity was creating a design with the polaroid pictures and the background because there were multiple editing tools involved in creating a design. Also the placement of the quote and polaroids had to pull the eye to where you wanted it to go. After merging the layers you had then take the polaroids and shrink them down and turn them. Then you had to hide the edges, so you had to take pieces of the background and bring them forward. Basically this was the difficult part because there were a lot of steps and tools in the process of creating your design.
The objective of this project was to combine the painting and the computer element using tools from photoshop. I did this by uploading the image of my background after i painted it. I stretched the image and then I used the image editing tools like the brightness and contrast, the levels, and vibrance. I then copied pieces of the painting i had created to shrink down to use to hide the edges of the polaroid. On these i changed the opacity down to 76%, so they didn't cover our faces too much. I used the magic wand tool many times to get rid of the excess picture and polaroid. I also used that tool to select pieces of the background painting so that i could copy them and use them again.
If I could do this art project all over again I would change the color of the background paper, so that it is whiter and matches the color of the polaroids. I would do this by either using a whiter colored paper when I was painting or by attempting to use the image editing tools to make the paper look whiter, without changing the water color drips that much.
